Our topic this month is “What is loving guidance?” 

Thinking about how our babies’ very first lessons are learned at the breast.

Alongside our topic there is always time to talk about any questions which mums bring along on the day.

Our monthly coffee morning is a chance for some mother-to-mother support as we share the ups and downs of everyday life with our small people. There’s no specific topic, just lots of time for any questions you bring along on the day. 

Pop along for a drink, a snack and a listening ear. We’ll also have our library covering all manner of breastfeeding topics.

All our meetings and coffee mornings are free, but we ask that if you are able to please donate a couple of pounds to help us keep the group running. Another way to support the group is to join LLL GB, monthly membership is £2.50 and includes an electronic copy of Breastfeeding Matters, LLL GB’s very own magazine.

Getting to the meeting

By car – there is usually plenty of on street parking in the surrounding area.

By bus – the number 73 stops at the end of the road and there are also several other bus routes including the new T1 service. Please get in touch if you need a hand finding the nearest bus stop.

By train – Parkway station is around 20 minutes walk or the 73 bus runs from there if you prefer. Patchway station is around 20 minutes walk.

How we hold our babies while they feed seems such a simple thing at first glance, however it can make a huge difference to how comfortable and effective feeding is for both of you. This month we’re going to look at some of the small tweaks that can make a big impact.
As always there will be time for a chat about any other questions you bring on the day.

Bring yourself, your little ones and if you like a healthy snack to share. Meetings are free, but we do ask that if you are not a member of LLLGB you consider making a donation of £2, to help us keep the group running.
